Lifang represented Qihoo in appeal before the Supreme Court

On December 4, 2013, Lifang partners Xie Guanbin, Cai Peng and Sun Xi represented Qihoo in the second instance hearing where Qihoo appealed the previous court decision on the unfair competition disputes with Tencent. Justice Xi Xiaoming, Vice-President of the Supreme People’s Court, presided over a five-judge penal to hear to case. The court also invited 80 internet users and media representatives to observe the hearing. CCTV reported the case on its morning news programme due to the high profile of the parties. Qihoo is a leading Chinese provider of free antivirus product, while Tencent is one of China’s largest comprehensive internet service provider.
