The First “Air-ticket Overbooking Case” in China Goes to Court

Lawyers from Lifang & Partners, Ms. Zhang Bin and Mr. Zhou Dezhi, recently represented Mr. Xiao Liming in a complaint against China Southern Airlines for air-ticket overbooking. This case has attracted great interest from both the public and the media and has been dubbed the first “air-ticket overbooking case in China”. The first instance trial was heard by Chaoyang Court on November 23, 2006.
